Lacquered MDF can give doors a consistent colour and allow shaped fronts. The outcome depends on preparation, lacquer and edge work as well as the colour code. MMV Studio agrees those details before production.

Materials and finishes

Plain fronts still need careful preparation

The calmer a composition looks, the more obvious uneven joints or sheen become. Samples should therefore represent the intended final finish.

Agreed colour

Samples are viewed beside walls, floors and room lighting, particularly for a specific white or beige.

Matt or satin

Sheen changes reflections and the way colour reads. It also affects daily cleaning.

Machined details

Grooves, frames or integrated pulls are drawn before finishing; their radii and edges are part of the result.

Suitable fittings

Door size and weight shape the choice of hinges, lift mechanisms or sliding gear.

The product specification must suit its intended use.

MDF is not one board specification

We choose a product suited to the part and environment. A bathroom door and a living-room panel are not assumed equivalent.

Edges and junctions

On a long run, regular gaps matter as much as colour. We review component sizes, tolerances and adjustment.

Realistic upkeep

Cleaning depends on the selected lacquer. Compatible products and how to treat marks should be known before approval.

Can you match a chosen colour?＋

We can assess a requested shade and prepare a sample. Matching is approved physically, not only by an on-screen code.

Is lacquer the same as melamine?＋

No. Lacquer is a finish applied to a prepared part; decorative melamine arrives as a board surface.

Can it be used in a bathroom?＋

That depends on the board, lacquer, edges and water exposure. We assess the complete construction first.
