Solid timber should be named precisely: visible grain does not mean an entire cabinet is solid. In Marbella we propose it where its construction and feel add something useful, and specify which parts are actually solid.
Materials and finishes
Real timber, sound construction
Species, grain direction and finish are chosen with the form of the furniture. A wide panel behaves differently from a leg or an edge.
Larger components
Before drawing a broad panel, we consider joints and the material’s natural movement.
The protective finish
Lacquer, oil or another treatment changes feel, colour and care. It is agreed using a representative sample.
Honest combinations
Solid timber, veneer and technical board can share one piece when every component is identified in the quotation.

The product specification must suit its intended use.
Where the solid timber is
A veneered door has real wood on its surface without being solid throughout. Ask for body, fronts, edges and finish to be specified separately.
Change over time
Timber responds to its environment. The construction must allow for movement; we do not promise that every piece will remain completely static.
Care for the actual finish
Guidance depends on species and protection. At handover we explain cleaning products and precautions for the selected finish.

No. For some broad surfaces or conditions, a board with natural veneer may be more suitable. We compare function and cost.
Can it sit beside lacquered components?＋
Yes. The junction and differing movement between materials are resolved before production.
How will I know which parts are solid?＋
The proposal should name the material of each component rather than calling the whole unit “wood”.
