Design direction

Quality is decided at the junctions

A composition can look simple while requiring close work to match grain, align fronts and keep mechanisms accessible. We review samples and component sizes with you before approving manufacture.

Grain continuity

With veneered panels we agree grain direction and how fronts will be matched. A door may look attractive on its own yet sit awkwardly beside the next.

Lacquer specified properly

Shade, sheen and edge preparation are defined. Samples are checked beside the floor and under the room’s lighting.

Stone, glass and metal

Each combination needs a considered junction. We assess weight, thickness, fixing and cleaning before pricing it.

Fittings that suit the load

Large doors, loaded drawers and moving panels need mechanisms matched to size and use. The selected model is named in the proposal.

Lighting you can maintain

We design lighting with its cables and power supply. A sound detail leaves access for later maintenance without dismantling the whole unit.

Fitting planned in the drawing

Components are sized for the actual route into the property and their joints are resolved. Final adjustment is part of the result.

How is the finish approved before production?＋

We compare samples of the main surfaces and record colour, grain, sheen and edges in the approved proposal. A digital image alone is not enough.

Does an expensive material guarantee a good result?＋

No. Proportion, component design, fittings and installation matter just as much. We explain where added spend changes daily use or finish and where it does not.

Can new furniture sit alongside pieces I already own?＋

Yes, when we know which pieces will stay. Their dimensions and tones guide the design; a new finish cannot be assumed to match an aged one exactly.

Where can I see completed work?＋

We publish our work on Instagram. Inspiration images are labelled as references, not presented as completed commissions for a particular client.
