Classical furniture need not copy an antique. For a Marbella home, we may take the rhythm of framed doors, the height of a plinth or the proportions of a display cabinet, then plan the storage you need today.

Design direction

Proportion makes classical detail convincing

Before choosing mouldings, we measure the wall and nearby doors. A framed front loses its balance if the unit is too narrow or a drawer cannot open fully.

Frames sized to the door

Rails and stiles are drawn for each front rather than placing the same profile on doors of very different sizes.

Display that works

We ask what will be shown, how the glass will be cleaned and where lighting would go if included.

Colour and shadow

A light lacquer shows shadows in mouldings and joints. Samples are checked against the actual floor and walls.

Modern workings

Current runners and hinges can sit behind classical fronts. Opening and access still need to feel comfortable.

Yes. Photographs and dimensions help us set the scale and tone of the new piece without copying the old one.

Do classical fronts have to be solid timber?＋

Not always. Lacquered MDF, veneer or another construction may suit the design and use; the choice is specified before production.
